NATURALIST
We are a team of researchers, field biologists from the University of Lisbon and the Azores and local nature park guides who have been working in terrestrial and marine environments for over 15 years. We've found a way to keep in touch with wildlife and improve tourist experiences by bridging the gap between science and tourism. All outings are guided by a researcher who collects scientific data. We offer whale and dolphin watching, bird watching, walking tours, hikes, van rides, privately or in small groups, tell us what you have in mind, our job is to help you have a fantastic holiday! Each ticket contributes 10% to the NGO AtlanticNaturalist.org and environmental data is collected on each tour (whales, bats, sharks, seabirds, etc.). Join us and contribute to the research and monitoring of the fauna and flora of the Azores!
Service
We offer high quality services and tours specialising in whale watching, island tours, pelagic bird watching, coastal and ocean apnea, sunset boat trips. On land we offer van rides around the island, hikes, plant and geology tours and land bird watching. We also offer Naturalists accommodation at Casa do porto da Horta (local accommodation with a superb view of Pico) and Porto Pim Guesthouse (located in the beautiful bay of Porto Pim).
